Spot 1

  • February 1978: Decision to develop Spot 1 satelite.

  • February 1986: Spot 1 launch.

  • February 1986: Spot 1 delivers its first images.

  • October 1981: Decision to develop Spot 2 satelite.

  • January 1990: Spot 2 launch.

  • January 1990: Spot2 delivers its first images.

  • June 2009: Spot 2 retired from service.

Spot 3

  • September 1987: Decision to develop Spot 3 satelite.

  • September 1993: Spot 3 launch.

  • November 1996: Loss of Spot 3.
